I’m passing the memory lane
Its red everywhere in the rain
The evening is landing on the droplets laiden face
Alas! I can’t smile you’ll be red again
And I’ll search for hew of shade now and then
O! that innocent smile with what, why and when
Again, please again
Silently I’ve passed the memory lane
Ah! the rain.
…and then he cut you to make me
It is not love, just a burning desire
To make you, the original you.
And for this if you call me God,
It is none of your fault.
O! the parting kiss
The line across
Dividing life from death
Some breaths linger still
I like the way you are!
Marks, small scars, some pigmentation on skin
Show that an adult you are
Who faced the life with the armour of strength and perseverance.
To make up like a child or a god’s blemish-less face –
It is fine not to appear like.
Only grownups have that darkish circle below eye
The pool where emotions leave the mark
Proclaiming that you cared for others
And for those who were near and dear ones.
I like sun patches on your skin
Colouring of your face and hands and the neck
Make you really like the moon of my nights
Someone who stood by side during bad days and dreams.
My love! please stop caring about the looks
Which they say should you look alike
Just watch in my eyes – the beauty you are!
When there were no days and the night was bereft of twinkling lights
There were no breeze, no dew, no rains, no morning, no evening
The twain met with nothingness absolute, no horizons to rise and set,
After the timeless longing and waiting knowing not for what for whom –
I was born and they said we’ve created, smiling I asked – who did you?
And there was uproar, the darkness was torn with a gleam of light beam
Horizon born, it was day the first, then the night followed and the seasons
The days, months, years repeating mornings, evenings, rains and dew
A single question can do a lot! I was in awe to see the plants and animals
Humbled in surprise I plucked the reed, wrote the answer in blood – ‘God’.
Since then there are more answers than questions, ‘The End’ no where!
Don’t know about the right circumstances my love!
I know the illuminance of my eyes falling on your face
I know the luminance emitted from your face enriched by absorption
I know the ‘pi’ time in denominator aging us to reduce the luminance and illuminance
I know the dimensionless love, keeping constant.
And they say we reflect each other.
The answers are hanged on a non responsive touch screen
See the options, touch, press, none to hear, nothing to be seen
When the sun was hot and cries were dry times umpteen
Where were these clouds raining mean?
this morning is cloudy like the tiredness of love in body,
east I see beneath your eyelids the ocre red sweet pain,
remain there you yellow white warm pyre with holy smoke
hair I see with eyes open I’m in worship, the sun in veil…
